Are you thinking about your online presence for the first time or do you think your company website requires a redesign?
Call 07990 848749 to discuss your website requirements and learn how I can help potential customers to engage with your brand online. You can also contact me using this email form. Website design and development need not be a mystery. I will explain my ideas to you and show you what I am doing every step of the way.
Initial Meeting
Before I can offer you an accurate quotation I need to assess the scope of the project including what you want your website to achieve and any on-going/future plans. I like to establish an insight into your business, target audiences and personal tastes in terms of design and layout as well as offering my own suggestions or solutions to approach a particular task.
Quotation
After our meeting I will produce a written quotation tailored to your project specification including my terms of business and outlining payment options.
First Draft
The first draft of your website or web application shall simply be a static image on a webpage. Until the design is agreed there won't be any functionality or movement, it is simply representative of what the website could look like. Explanations into what elements of the website will do what will be provided.
Refinements
If you are satisfied with the first draft of your website I can begin to add functionality to it (links, contact forms, animations, e-commerce, etc) so that it becomes something useable. However, you may like to make design changes or suggest alterations which I will be happy to carry out. I would then redraft the design and produce another demo version for you to preview.
Functionality
When the design is agreed I can begin to make your website functional. This means that the pages are added, links are active and movement or user interaction is possible. During this phase the website will still be in demo phase. This means that although you will be able to see the site growing and taking shape, it will not yet be accessible to the general public via the domain name that you have chosen.
Testing & User Training
After the interactive features or software has been added to your website I need you to test everything on the site to ensure it works as you expected, and also to learn how features work. Most software is supplied with user guides however I'm happy for you to sit down with me so that I can show you how to go about using the website on a day to day basis.
Pre-Launch Checklist
The moment that you are completely satisfied with your new website let me know and I can start the process of "going live". I have a checklist of tasks to complete to make sure the next stage goes as smoothly as possible.
Going Live
This is the moment that your website is moved to a live server where the public can start accessing it on their own computers. Any media you’ve supplied to me or your login details and/or copies of logos you require will be returned to you.
Looking Ahead
Some time after the launch of your website, you may decide that you’d like to integrate other features, enquire about SEO or ask me to complete your next project. I like to establish long lasting business relationships with my clients, and this includes ensuring that I am available to be contacted should you have any questions about the next steps.
